MICRA PhD network
The MICRA PhD network is open to all students researching any aspect of ageing and ageing populations at The University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University and was launched in November 2016. The network is student led and will meet 3 times a year giving PhD students the opportunity to build relationships, share experiences, provide peer support, and broaden knowledge about ageing. The group will also connect students to cutting edge ageing research and help students prepare for future careers.
The PhD network is led by three co-chairs:
- Hannah Cross from the University of Manchester (hannah.cross-2@manchester.ac.uk)
- Shunqi Zhang from the University of Manchester (shunqi.zhang@manchester.ac.uk)
- Siobhan Kelly from the University of Salford (s.a.kelly2@salford.ac.uk)
