Meetings

OPUS meets on a regular basis to discuss the latest research and policy developments on ageing and sexuality/intimacy.

These meetings are forming the basis for the development of a major research proposal on this issue.

Conference

On 14 July, and at The University of Manchester, OPUS organised a consultative conference involving 45 academics and practitioners: “Researching Older Care Home Residents and Sexuality/Intimacy, University of Manchester.”   This was designed as another means of data collection on the value of research and how to conduct it. It involved presentations from the OPUS sharing interim findings from the research and from older people and carers.
