Dementia@mcr
Dementia is not a single condition and is usually experienced alongside other conditions such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer. The next challenges for dementia care and research are an earlier diagnosis of dementia, accurate stratification between different dementia types, translating research advances more rapidly into clinical practice and care, and enabling people to live well with dementia.
MICRA affiliates collaborate across multiple disciplines to address these issues.
