The UK Network of Age-friendly Cities
An affiliated member of the World Health Organization's Global Network, this group shares learning and develops policy for an age-friendly city.
Representatives from across the UK are collaborating to bring about change in the way that cities respond to population ageing. By developing and sharing policy and best practice, network members are working together to improve the experience of growing older in cities, and help people age better. Affiliated members come from a range of local government, third sector and charitable organisations.

The Network's member cities are working on key age-friendly developments and initiatives, from local business policy to architecture and green space.
Through shared learning and collaboration, the UK Network is gathering evidence on ‘what works’ in terms of age-friendly practice.
