Debora Price honoured by Academy of Social Sciences

Professor Debora Price has been honoured by the Academy of Social Sciences for her contribution to the social sciences.

Debora Price, Professor of Social Gerontology and Director of MICRA, has been recognised for the international reputation of her work on pensions, inequalities and poverty in later life and her contribution to British Gerontology as a discipline. She is one of 42 social scientists conferred the Award of Fellow on 3 March by the National Academy of Academics, Learned Societies and Practitioners in the social sciences in the UK. Debora joins former MICRA director Professor Chris Phillipson and current MICRA Co-Director Professor James Nazroo in being recognised as a distinguished scholar by the Academy for the excellence and impact of their work in the social sciences.
